Adding or editing a qualifier

When you add or edit a qualifier, you specify the qualifier type and the completeness, position, relation, structure, truncation, and use attributes for the qualifier. You can create qualifiers for subject, series, uniform title, ISSN, title, ISBN, author, notes, keyword, and LCCN data.

To add or edit a qualifier

Choose Z39.50 Sets from the navigation pane.

Choose the Edit Qualifiers option next to the Z39.50 set for which you want to add or edit qualifiers.

Choose Add Qualifier, or choose the Edit option next to the qualifier that you want to edit.

Complete the fields, as necessary. (For details, see Fields: Add/Edit Qualifier .)

Choose OK to save your changes, or choose Cancel to discard your changes and return to Edit Z39.50 Set.
